Adrian Cullen
Industry Program Manager, National AI Centre
Adrian Cullen is Industry Program Manager at the National AI Centre (NAIC) where he works with Australian businesses to adopt AI and take it from interesting idea to working in the shed, the packhouse and the boardroom. His current focus is on enabling Australia’s agrifood sector to realise the opportunity whilst turning down the hype with responsible and practical adoption of AI.
Before NAIC, Adrian was leading foreign investment across low carbon fuels and agrifood at Austrade, working with multinationals from right across the supply chain. And once upon a time was teaching kids about the world of Biology, Physics and Math.
And whilst not a farmer, Adrian does spend a lot of time in the garden, growing food with his seven- and four-year-old who built their own planting app using AI and voice tools. They can’t type yet, the app works perfectly.
If they can do it, the barrier isn’t technology, it’s knowing where to start!
