Melissa has over 20 years’ experience in agriculture, both as a farmer and in industry policy and strategy. She is leading the first nation-wide project on reducing food waste from horticulture.

Melissa knows the impact of food supply chain issues that lead to food waste and that these problems must be solved collaboratively. She is excited to be playing a role in bringing industry, government, science and food charities together to meet Australis' goal of halving food waste.
