Ian Layden

Ian is currently the Director Vegetables, Supply Chains & Market Access RD&E in the Queensland Department of Primary Industries (DPI). He leads a group of about 65 staff working across horticulture systems and supply chains. With a background in soil science and extension, he has worked in horticulture systems since 2005. With a keen interest in precision agriculture, he has developed and delivered a number of technology focussed projects for the Australian vegetable industry.
