Richelle is the VegNET Regional Development Officer at Bowen Gumlu Growers Association, supporting growers across North Queensland from Mareeba to Charters Towers. Since joining in November 2024, she has focused on key issues including soil health, input management, grants, biosecurity, agtech, and reef water quality. Richelle plays a lead role in the National Fall Armyworm Surveillance project, covering multiple states and territories. With a strong background in agriculture and sugarcane in the Burdekin, she spent 10 years on her family farm before moving into agronomy communications. She is passionate about delivering practical, relevant support to the region’s diverse growers.
