Fiona Chambers is CEO of the Wheen Bee Foundation and the Chair of the Australian Pollination Strategy Steering Committee. Under her leadership, the Wheen Bee Foundation has become Australia’s leading charity addressing national and global threats to bees. It funds vital strategic research, education and conservation initiatives that strengthen bees, improve pollination efficiency and increase food security and ecosystem health. The Foundation leads more than 20 programs that promote the importance of bees, including the Bee Friendly Farming program and the Online Pollinator Stewardship Program.
The Wheen Bee Foundation leads the Australian Pollination Strategy, a five-year national initiative bringing together industry, research, environmental and government stakeholders to develop a coordinated, evidence-based approach to Australia’s pollination supply.
