As NAB’s first female State Business Banking Executive for Regional & Agribusiness in Queensland, Alison Blanshard believes it’s important to continue to develop female talent in organisations.

Alison manages a team of 11 Business Bank Executives with 124 Agri & Business Bankers across the State. Alison’s career in the banking industry started 25 years ago in Sydney after completing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney.

She worked her way up through the ranks in a range of roles and locations including in markets and foreign exchange in Sydney, and Business Bank Executive for the Coffs Harbour and Clarence Valley region in NSW.

Alison is passionate about supporting women in business and her favourite piece of advice is to “Believe in yourself and never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.”
