Jesse is an accomplished agribusiness professional with 20yrs experience working within the agricultural & horticultural sectors. In that time, Jesse has held a variety of roles including on-farm technical agronomy nationally, providing management and oversight of multimillion-dollar R&D portfolios, guiding global giant Robert Bosch as they developed an Australian AgTech strategy and recently as Commercial Manager –’ AgTech & Innovation’ for Costa Group Ltd (Australia), he focused on identifying domestic opportunities for digital technology disruption & implementation as it related to the Australian business.

Throughout his career he has specialised in digital technology transfer, extension and program implementation, providing thought leading, practical and ethical solutions direct to farmers, industry groups and government bodies, earning the individual honour of the National Industry Impact Award in 2015.

Jesse’s current role as Head of Investment, Growth and Commercial at Hort Innovation combines his deep technical knowhow with business development and application - as Hort Innovation continue to align unmet industry needs with practical and meaningful investment solutions.
