Dr Jill Stanley is Science Group Leader - Fruit Crops Physiology at Plant & Food Research. She leads a team of more than 50 people focused on research that improves fruit quality and productivity of perennial fruit crops.
She represented New Zealand for 16 years on the Council of the International Society for Horticultural Science and served an additional eight years on the Board of Directors including Vice-President. She was conferred as a Companion of the Royal Society Te Apārangi in 2022.
