Susannah Roelofsz

Susannah Roelofsz holds a Master of Science Degree in Microbiology with over 20 years of Global Experience gained through Scientific Research and International Publication, Laboratory Services, Food Manufacturing, Regulatory Food Safety and Quality Auditing, Training and Assessment, Technical and Quality Management. Susannah has worked with all areas of Supply Chain and Key Stakeholders including Growers, Post-harvest facilities, Manufacturers, Suppliers, Regulators, Customers, Food Service, Retail, Transport and Storage, Laboratory and Certification. Her professional interests are in Food Safety, Quality, HACCP, Training, Management Systems, and the Microbiological ecology of foods.

Susannah recently joined FPSC-ANZ in August 2023 after emigrating from New Zealand, as Technical Officer and Project Lead for the Horticulture Food Safety Initiative. The Horticulture Food Safety Initiative is funded through the Hort Frontiers Strategic Partnership developed by Hort Innovation, and 11 co-investment Partners. The Project aims to enhance knowledge and connection, among Food Safety Professionals and Supply Chain Stakeholders across the fresh produce Industry of Australia and New Zealand.
