General Manager, Commercial, The Wiggles
Luke Field’s connection to live entertainment began almost before he could walk – making his stage debut at just seven weeks old when his proud father introduced him to a festival crowd in Sydney. By age three, he had already experienced life on the road, touring with iconic Australian acts including The Cockroaches and Mental As Anything on the E=MC2 Tour. It was an early indication of a career that would span both the creative and commercial sides of the industry.
After appearing in early productions of The Wiggles as a child, Luke deliberately stepped behind the scenes to build a strong operational foundation. He holds a double degree in Communication and Journalism and Sport Studies from Charles Sturt University and began his professional career in touring as a Tour Manager.
Over the past 18+ years, Luke has led the delivery of more than 50 national and international tours across Australia, New Zealand, North America, the UK, Ireland, and the Middle East, collectively selling over one million tickets.
His expertise spans large-scale production, commercial strategy, and team leadership, with a consistent track record of scaling operations, improving efficiencies, and delivering sold-out performances.
Progressing through senior roles including Road Manager and Head of Touring, Luke played a central role in transforming the touring model and expanding the business globally. He was also instrumental during three major lineup transitions, contributing to the successful relaunch of The Wiggles and the strategic expansion from four to eight members -positioning the brand for a new generation of audiences.
In 2021, Luke was appointed General Manager, Commercial, expanding his remit beyond touring to oversee global content sales, partnerships, and new growth initiatives. He has led key projects including the brand’s move into animation and continues to bridge the commercial and live performance sides of the business, regularly engaging with productions on the ground.
With a lifelong connection to the brand, and deep operational expertise, Luke brings a rare combination of institutional knowledge and forward-looking leadership, helping drive the continued evolution of one of the world’s most trusted and successful children’s entertainment groups.
