Dr Manktelow has spent over 30 years’ in research and extension of sustainable agrichemical use and disease and pest management. David has a deep understanding spray application systems in horticultural crops. He is currently working on a trans-Tasman collaborative research programme that aims to use the current convergence of precision orchard mapping and machinery automation systems to deliver large improvements in spraying outcomes across multiple fruit crops, including apples and avocados.
