Mick is Principal Research Fellow, jointly funded by the University of WA and Dept Primary Industries and Regional Development (WA). Mick was awarded an ARC Future Fellowship in 2018 and has led over AU$6M competitive research funds.
He is an Assoc/ Editor of three major international journals and a member of the OGTR Gene Technology Technical Advisory Committee. In 2023 Mick convened and Chaired the 7th International Plant Dormancy Symposium, and a Special Issue on plant quiescence and dormancy.
